City of London Honours Prem Rawat and
The Prem Rawat Foundation June 1st 2007
At a reception held at Mansion House, the home of the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Prem Rawat, on behalf of The Prem Rawat Foundation, made a significant contribution to Voluntary Service Overseas, a charitable organisation that sends volunteer professionals to disadvantaged countries. The reception was followed by a gala event called "Giving from the Heart", held at Guildhall. Sheriff Richard Regan presented Prem Rawat, on behalf of the Lord Mayor, with an illuminated handwritten scroll in which HRH The Prince of Wales, and Tony Blair, the Prime Minister of the UK at that time, conveyed their best wishes.
